First Visit

When you enter the Children's building, you are entering "The Park". All kids love to go to the park, right? You'll see the Park mascot, PJ Diggity Dog, (short for "Praising Jesus") in every area of the park. And just like his name suggests, he is always digging up something. In this case, he is digging up items which represent the purposes of our church: connect, grow, serve, reach, and worship.

DOWNSTAIRS

Our downstairs Park is for preschoolers, infant through Pre-K.

We have a check-in desk in the lobby. Someone will be there to help you check in your preschooler. We'll need to get the following information:

  • Parent/guardian name(s), address, phone number
  • Child's name & birth date
  • An emergency number
  • Any special instruction, e.g., allergies, special needs, etc. for your child

We will direct you to your child's class and you will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag. When you come to pick up your child, give your portion of the tag to the worker who will match the ID with the one the child is wearing. Please note: It's not that we won't know which child goes with which parent; rather it's a extra step we take for security.

UPSTAIRS

The upstairs level of the children's building is for Kindergarten through 5th grade. They do not check in but a parent is required to accompany them upstairs to their classroom. After small groups, we will escort them to the back of the sanctuary to meet parents for the worship service.
