Opportunities

Opportunities to Serve

Every Member A Minister! Once you’ve become a Christ-follower, God’s word tells us that one of our purposes is to serve. In fact, God designed us for service…you have been given unique gifts He wants you to use for helping others. At Parkway Place, there are over 30 ministry teams and within each team are multiple roles.

As part of our BodyLife series, you will learn what your unique SHAPE is by discovering your spiritual gifts, identifying your talents and skills, and describing your passions and interests.  Then you’ll meet with a staff member to see where you can get involved, whether that is in an existing opportunity or one that you see a need to create!

There are many areas where you can use your spiritual gifts and God-given talents.  To list a few: adult Bible study, children’s ministry, community groups, facilities, First Impressions, knitting, local disciple-making events, media, men’s ministry, music team, prayer team, special needs ministry, stewardship team, student ministry, Terrific Office Partners, transportation, and women’s ministry.

Below are listed some of our immediate and ongoing needs with a few more details.  Contact Beverly Parker in the church office for more info.
