Opportunities to Serve
Every Member A Minister! Once you've become a Christ-follower, God's word tells us that one of our purposes is to serve. In fact, God designed us for service..you have been given unique gifts He wants you to use for helping others. At Parkway Place, there are over 30 ministry teams and within each team are multiple "positions." Here are some examples:
First Impression Team -- we want to give our guests the "PPBC royal treatment." One of the comments we continually get from our guests is "how welcoming and friendly everyone was."
Mission: Peru -- Join the team as they travel to Cajamarca to help with construction projects or provide medical attention to the villagers.
Knitting Ministry -- This ministry is so much fun that our "knitchicks" feel guilty about it! But making caps for cancer patients, baby blankets and prayer shawls is their work of heart.
STEP Mentors -- These guys and gals look forward to Thursdays when they go to 7th Street Elementary School in NLR to spend time with "their" kids. They tutor, encourage, and just show the love of God to others.
Terrific Office Partners -- These administratively-minded folk totally staff our front office and we couldn't live without them!
