Global Disciple-Making

6,500 unreached people groups.  According to missionary resources, like the International Mission Board, that is how many peoples have not heard the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Unreached means that less than 2% are Christian; unengaged means the Gospel has not been taken to them yet.  We are mandated to take the Gospel throughout the entire world to fulfill the Great Commission and see the glorious return of our Savior!  “‘And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.’” (Matthew 24:14)

At Parkway Place, we’re developing Christ-followers who are firmly rooted in Christ such that each of us is willing to do whatever it takes of time, talent, and treasure to reach those who are unreached and unengaged with the Gospel.

As part of the 2012 Radical Experiment, Parkway Place is actively engaging measures to commit more resources to missional work.  The challenge is for each individual and family to do the same.  We want to equip every individual and family to go wherever God leads us to take the Gospel.  The prospect can be intimidating, to say the least.  But we’re all called to go and what God calls us to do, He promises to faithfully fulfill to completion!

Here’s a few ways we’re currently engaged in God’s global plan.

The Radical Experiment

Radical

2012 is all about being Radical for Christ!  Not radical in terms of fanatical, but radical in that we are all deeply rooted in Christ.  This year we’re challenging all PPBC members to take part in the Radical Experiment.  The five year-long challenges are purposed to draw attention to His global Kingdom work, so that every people group will hear of and know His Good News! Check it out to learn more!

Conversation Club

Right here in Little Rock, we have a large international community.  One of the best ways to build relationships is to help them speak English.  The Metro BCM at UALR meets for six Monday nights, twice a year to do just that.  We’re all pretty good at eating and talking, and that’s really all there is to it!  For more information, contact Bit Stephens.

Mission: Peru

Mission: PeruPPBC mission groups have traveled to Cajamarca, Peru, to build buildings and lives for Christ. Also, in just a week’s span, hundreds of villagers are seen and treated by medical personnel. Watch the testimony of Carlos and Doris Valenzuela in the video below.

Our next trip will focus on meeting physical and spiritual needs through medical and dental clinics.  It is scheduled for May 31-June 9, at a cost of $2,400.  For more information, please contact our office.
