Online Giving
PPBC offers online giving as a convenience and not as a way to circumvent sound biblical money management principles or incur debt. We encourage you to not use this if it will only add to any debt you may already have, or if you are not able to pay off your credit card balance each month. Thank you for using this online giving option in a way that honors God.
How do I setup online giving?
- Click the “Online Giving Sign-In” link above and log in to Access ACS. If this will be your first time to do so, click the “Need a Login – Click Here” link.
- After logging in, go to the “Giving” tab and choose “Give Now”.
- Go to “Enter your Contribution” section and enter your amount and select if you want it to be automatically recurring. Click “Add”
- You will then be prompted to click the “Give” button to complete the transaction. This is where you can choose to give by check or credit card and fill in the appropriate information.
- Click “Submit Payment”.
What are the benefits of giving online?
The Bible teaches us to bring the first part of our income as an offering to Him. If you’ve ever had a hectic weekend and forgot, or you’ve gone out of town and fallen behind, online giving will automate the process for you, strengthening your faithfulness in giving.
Doesn’t giving online take away from the offering time on Sunday?
Not at all. In fact, several members have already been “e-giving” by setting up recurring payments through their bank. Many will attest that it keeps them faithful in their giving. Remember, it is not HOW we give, but rather WHY we give. We’ll still have envelopes available if you would like to mark them with “online gift” and take part in the offering time during our Celebration and Passion venues.
Is online giving secure?
Yes. The AccessACS site is encrypted, which you can tell by the URL that begins with “https://”. And unlike checks, your contribution cannot be lost or stolen or destroyed in the mail.
What if I want to change or cancel my online giving?
Easy enough! On the same line of the contribution you wish to change, click the little pencil icon to edit your offering. If you need to cancel it, click the red circle with the X.
When I give online, when does the money actually reach the church?
Depending on your bank, it usually takes 2 – 7 days. However, you can verify through AccessACS that you have given. You will also be able to see your giving summary throughout the year.
