Reaching...

….compassionately reaching out to others with the love of Christ...no strings attached.

(Paul) I have been all things to all sorts of people that by every possible means I might win some to God. I do all this for the sake of the Good News.

PPBC Sports Ministry

SOFTBALL PPBC has three softball teams every year. We have a men's team that participates in the Maumelle city league, and we have a men's and women's team that compete in the Burns Park church league. Our Maumelle team has won the league in 2008 and the tournament in 2009, while our men's Burns Park team has steadily moved up in the rankings, this year competing in the top tier "A" league. The women's team continues a strong tradition of competition in their league as well.

Information to Join a Team: Roster are set for the 2010 season, but sign-up sheets go out in early spring each year. League dues are $25 and we request players purchase a jersey. Hats are also available. The season plays from mid-April through late July. Games are typically Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings, anywhere from 6:30-9:30 pm start time.

Softball Schedule. If you don't play, we have a great fan base and welcome more!

BASKETBALL PPBC formed a basketball team for the first time in 2009. With a strong record of 11-4 and having an appearance in the championship game, we look to build on that success in the coming seasons. League dues and a jersey purchase will be required. The season runs from November-February.

GOLF TOURNAMENTS Once a year, PPBC offers a golf tournament. Entry fees and player costs go toward missions work and Imagine.

"A Place to Belong" Summer Classic - June 26th at Stonelink. Four person scramble. Lunch served at 12:00 pm; shotgun at 1:30 pm. 32 teams will be accepted. Entry fee is $50 per person, due by June 20th. Entry fee includes cart and green fees, goodie bag, and lunch. A silent auction will be held and mulligans will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit missions projects in Haiti and Peru.
