An Audience of One
Worship is to give honor, homage, reverence, adoration, or praise to a superior being. It is essentially an act of giving or living. A worthy goal regarding worship would be living my whole life for God’s pleasure.
Parkway Place is committed to extravagantly and passionately expressing our love to God for He is worthy of our highest and our best. We seek to provide an authentic experience of worship with God and an encounter with Him that has life changing results.
Psalms 22:3 tells us God “inhabits” or “is enthroned on the praises of His people.” Our desire is that we will sense and experience God’s presence every time the church gathers. We want to connect intimately with Him and hear His voice so that more of His character and nature can be found in us!
Worship at Parkway Place goes far beyond what we do on Sunday mornings at 10:30. It is lived out in our daily lives wherever we are. At home, at work, at school and yes, even at play.
We Were Made to Worship
Worship touches every facet of what we do at PPBC. When we’re connecting with brothers and sisters in Christ, when we’re growing in our faith through spending time in His Word, when we serve the orphans, widows, and those in need, and when we reach those who need to know His Good News both locally and globally, that’s worship! Worship only begins with singing songs, and while we want you to know ways you can be a part of that experience, we also recognize that worship is a 24/7 lifestyle.
Praise Team
If you have an instrumental or vocal talent, we welcome you to be a part of our Praise Team. The Celebration Band rehearses on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. Choir rehearsal immediately follows at 7:00 pm. For more information, see our Ministry Opportunities page.
Drama Team
This team uses creative communication to relate God’s Word. And there are opportunities for both children and adults! In Creative Kids, one of the ways our children can express themselves is through musicals. Our adult team has also written and produced Christmas musicals for the last several years.
Media Team
If it plugs in, this team is responsible for it. Our media team ensures that God’s message is seen and heard in our venues, events, and online. From art design, to production preparations, to maintaining PPBC’s digital infrastructure, our goal is to glorify God by supporting all of PPBC’s ministries with excellence.
