Beverly Parker
Hello, I am the "other" Beverly -- there are two Beverlys in our small office. When I started working here in 2004, my job (as it was described to me) was "Allan Greer." Alas, my work was never done! Allan had never-ending "stuff." Since that time I have moved into a different role -- thank goodness! I'm now responsible for the bulletin, our monthly newsletter, basic maintenance of the website, the church's database and somehow, office volunteers were thrown in for good measure -- and I thank God for them!
Basic Stuff: I was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas and raised on a farm. After high school, I resided in a dormitory at the University of Central Arkansas for one year. Some time later, I actually attended college and received my Bachelor and Master's degrees from UALR. By education and training, my career was Human Resources. In 2004, I retired from that headache.
Birthdate: July 25.
Education: My bachelor degree is Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and my Masters degree is Applied Psychology.
Interests and Favorites:
PLACES: There's no place like home!
WHAT'S ON MY iPOD: Bill Gates and I do not own an iPod.
BOOKS: Anything Max Lucado, John Ortberg, or Beth Moore.
MOVIES: Long-standing favorites are Shawshank Redemption and Fried Green Tomatoes.
DISLIKES: Liver, waiting, slow people, status quo.
ODD FACT: I don't like things that are round.
