Alright, I tried this one out this evening, minus a few things I don't like (and an adjustment of seasoning since there were less ingredients to mix). It's interesting. I'll eat the leftovers, so it wasn't bad, but I can't say I would *ever* be compelled to try this or have it under other circumstances. It had a delightful sweet, yet spicy taste. I loved the fresh cilantro. Went well with homemade baked steak-cut fries (shaken with a little olive oil and sea salt).

As I have prepared for this time of intamacy with God and studied the book of Daniel, one blarring question was WHY did Daniel fast. As I have learned, that in those days, the Isrealites offerred the first portion of their meal (the meat) to idols. Daniel's focus was not the idols but a Sovereign God. How many "idols" do I have in my life? I have many, so during this time of fasting, I - like Daniel want to show that GOD IS SOVEREIGN...NOT the "things" of this world. Praying for the PPBC family...love to all

Thanks, Bit! I needed the reminder to not get caught up in the food as I typically do but to think of it as "fuel" I appreciate your wisdom.
